Timepiece engineer and designer Hans Peter Grädel has been active in the watch industry for more than three decades. The inventor of the patented case suspension system gained international acclaim and added a new dimension to timekeeping technology. With his new personal HPG collection, he systematically melds tradition and tech-inspired design. The new FAST TRACK, FAST TRACK SKELETON, and GRAND PRIX collections were created for people who are attracted to unusual watches. Made of noble materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and 18K red gold, they are characterized by technical finesse and aesthetic appeal heightened by black or red gold PVD coatings. All models are water-resistant to 100 meters and have transparent display backs as well as prominent crown protection flanks. Their balances beat at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz). The dynamic look of the HPG collection reflects Hans Peter Grädel’s passion for the exciting realm of motor sports.

HPG – FAST TRACK

This comes to the fore particularly in the FAST TRACK collection. The brawny yet elegant style of these watches underscores their aesthetic appeal and opens new perspectives in progressive technology. Thanks to the patented suspension system, the integral bracelet extending from the bezel provides a truly comfortable wearing experience. The FAST TRACK models are endowed with self-winding ETA 7750 chronograph movements. The clearly arranged, highly legible dials accent their sportiness which is further emphasized by the casually elegant stainless steel bracelet as well as by the rubber and leather straps.

A blend of Formex tradition and extravagance is expressed by the FAST TRACK SKELETON. This timepiece is equipped with a self-winding ETA 7754 chronograph movement that has a power reserve of 46 hours. It features a useful second time-zone indication. The display back reveals a lavishly decorated winding rotor with the HPG signature.

HPG – GRAND PRIX

Unquestionably, expectations change attitudes. In the GRAND PRIX, with its striking diameter of 49mm, the entire case can be rotated, not just the bezel. Thus, the dial can be turned to suit the user’s angle of view. Additionally, the case tilts forward for even better legibility. The pushers are conveniently arranged on either side of the crown at 12 o’clock. The pierced dial symbolizes torque and speed, evoking the suspense associated with the name of this conspicuous chronograph.

The LIMITED EDITION in black comes with a bezel and case-ring in 18K red gold. It has a self-winding ETA 7754 caliber with a power reserve of 46 hours and shows the time in a second time zone. It, too, has a display back that reveals the winding rotor decorated with Côtes de Genève, the circular-grained, rhodiumed bridge, and blued screws as the master’s finishing touch. The striking design and sophisticated technology are the two key assets of this masterpiece that reflects a penchant for top-league motor sports.

All models of the HPG collection are delivered with a steel bracelet, a leather strap, and a rubber strap. They can easily be interchanged with a provided hex key.

Retail Prices start at US$ 4900 for FAST TRACK and US$ 8400 for GRAND PRIX.
